VW SPLIT SCREEN SAMBA UPHOLSTERY

Here's the bus arriving at my workshop just out of the body shop.....

This is the samba rag top section... All ready for me to work my magic ...!

 This shows the all new sun roof mechanism being fitted... Many hours of work and measure twice cut once .....

All fitted.. The complete kit came from : vw sunroofs from USA

Here is a inside photo showing the inner head lining all fitted  with the two tension cover strips you can see hanging  down ready to be fitted.

All fitted and ready for  more years of use.... Hope you all like...!

You can see all the side lining fitted round the windows and new upholsters side panel cards done in two tone tuck and roll vinyl.

Looking towards the rear of the van...all the rear parcel shelf area all trimmed to match.

Looking good..... Ready for seats to be fitted....

The door cards all fitted , note there are no screws to hold these door cards on...!!!

Front doe cards ready to be fitted.

Looking at the rear luggage area over the engine.... All lines and matching the rest of interior.

Newly trimmed bench seat to match the interior.

This is the front bench seat as you can see highly detailed in two tone vinyl and piping.....

The middle rear seat with drop down end very original .

This is the rear seat adjusted so can be used as a rock and roll bed... Nice touch.

Vw bay window Devon camper van

Hi all , here we have a lovely vw bay window Devon camper van... We custom designed this retro leather interior with special touches....

This is a close up of the cab area.... All leather with special custom carpet....

The dash was striped and painted... With leather grab handle and centre panel .

This is the buddy seat with the all so needed loo .... The wood work was also custom made...

The two tone door cards were done with traditional tuck and roll styling.

The Rock and roll 3/4 bed with top grade foam.....this bed has the looks and comfort .

The finished bus.....this bus is to be seen in a national magazine very soon.

VW BAY WINDOW ROCK AND ROLL BED UPHOLSTERY

 Thanks for looking at my blog of my upholstery that I have done. If you have any questions please ask. This is photos of a full width rock and roll bed I recently upholstered for a customer ,also door cards and interior panels to match in two tone vinyl with tuck and roll stitching.

the rear view with the large rear cushion in place.

Here you can see the complete interior with table in place... this was supplied from Ikea stores...

the rock and roll now in bed mode.... there is a huge space for sleeping.

i do like to see all the tuck and roll line up... makes a great look.

here you can see the door card done in matching materials and styling.

this shows a work underway shot... working out styling and proportions .
